Cognizant to be dropped from Nasdaq-100 index for 1st time in 20 years
Cognizant will be removed from the Nasdaq-100 index this month to make room for new firms that have benefited from the ongoing AI boom. This would mark the first time Cognizant wouldn't be part of the Nasdaq-100 in 21 years, since its inclusion in December 2004. Companies like Charter Communications and Verisk Analytics will also be dropped during the rebalance.
