Coinbase wins dismissal of US lawsuit over unregistered securities

A US judge on Wednesday dismissed a proposed class-action lawsuit that accused crypto exchange Coinbase of selling unregistered securities and failing to register as a broker-dealer. The judge said Coinbase's customers, who filed the lawsuit, couldn't show that the company held title to the tokens sold on the platform. Coinbase had no direct role in the transactions, the judge stated.
