Collapse of law & order: Himanta on Messi event chaos in Kolkata

Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma criticised West Bengal government over chaos at Kolkata's Salt Lake Stadium after Lionel Messi's appearance. Sarma alleged "total collapse of law and order" in the state and blamed VIP culture for ruining the event. While the event's organiser was arrested, Sarma added that "first responsibility also lies with the state's home minister and police commissioner."
