Collapsed section of bridge connected with another 170-feet bridge in Bihar

Just over two weeks after a slab of Vikramshila Setu in Bihar's Bhagalpur collapsed, Border Roads Organisation (BRO) has connected the damaged sections using a temporary 170-feet Bailey bridge. Officials have reportedly said the temporary structure is expected to become operational by June 5. Two more such temporary bridges are being built on the damaged stretch of the Vikramshila Setu.
