Collection boxes for old clothes to be installed at 10 Delhi metro stations

The Delhi government, led by CM Rekha Gupta, will install old clothes collection boxes at 10 metro stations to encourage recycling. Citizens can deposit unused garments, which will be sorted and given to NGOs for reuse and upcycling into items like bags and rugs. Remaining clothes will be sent to recycling units to produce yarn, fibre, and non-woven felt.
