College portal hacked to alter marks of 60 failed students for ₹20,000 each in B'luru

The online portal of Bengaluru North University was hacked and marks of over 60 failed graduates were tampered with. Kolar Police said they have arrested three people who misused the Registrar's login credentials to access the portal. The students were charged ₹15,000-₹20,000 each and the incident was uncovered after an accused was caught attempting to collect money from a student.
