Collegium is an old boys' club, fix it: Former CJI Chandrachud

Former CJI DY Chandrachud said on a podcast that the collegium is like an "old boys' club" because of poor gender representation in the higher judiciary. He called for more women judges as "the need of the hour". Society must build a level playing field, he said, as women bear "multifarious responsibilities".
