Colonel Sunita becomes 1st woman to head military's largest transfusion centre

Colonel Sunita BS, an Army Medical Corps Officer, has become the first woman to take charge as the Commanding Officer at Armed Forces Transfusion Centre (AFTC), Delhi Cantt, as per a press release. The AFTC is the largest blood transfusion centre of the Armed Forces. "Breaking barriers and making history!" Principal Spokesperson of Defence Ministry A Bharat Bhushan Babu said.
