Committed to internal reservations among SCs: K'taka CM

Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah on Monday reiterated the state government’s commitment to providing internal reservations within Scheduled Castes (SCs) community. CM Siddaramaiah announced the state will conduct a census of SCs from May 5 to 17. The state government has formed a commission, headed by retired High Court judge Nagamohan Das, to gather data on castes within SC category, he said.
