Company that made Titanic had termed it 'unsinkable'

The Vice-President of White Star Line, the company that produced passenger steamship RMS Titanic, had declared the ship to be "unsinkable". He had added, "There is no danger that Titanic will sink." The ship, however, sank on its maiden voyage in 1912 after it hit an iceberg in the Atlantic Ocean, resulting in the death of over 1,500 people.
