Complaint filed over 'excessive' FIFA World Cup 2026 ticket prices

The Football Supporters Europe (FSE) and Euroconsumers have filed a formal complaint with the European Commission against FIFA over "excessive ticket prices" at this year's World Cup. FSE said FIFA has "abused its monopoly position" in setting prices. FSE and Euroconsumers identified six "specific abuses", including bait advertising, uncontrolled dynamic pricing and pressure-selling tactics.
