Concerned about implications of India's CAA: US diplomat

Commenting on Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019 (CAA), US Ambassador at Large for International Religious Freedom Sam Brownback said, "As fellow democracy, we respect India's institutions, but are concerned about implications of CAA." "One of India's great strengths is its Constitution...We hope the government will abide by its constitutional commitments, including on religious freedom," he added.
