Cong, JMM to contest 1 Rajya Sabha seat each in Jharkhand

Congress and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) have decided to contest one seat each in upcoming Rajya Sabha polls in Jharkhand, with JMM dropping its earlier plan to field candidates for both seats. Congress has nominated Pranav Jha, while JMM has fielded Baidyanath Ram for the other seat. The elections for the Rajya Sabha seats will be held on June 18.
