Cong shifts 5 of its Goa MLAs to Chennai ahead of Presidential polls

The Goa Congress has shifted five of its eleven MLAs to Chennai for the weekend ahead of Presidential elections, PTI reported. MLAs Sankalp Amonkar, Yuri Alemao, Altone D'Costa, Rodolfo Fernandes and Carlos Alvares Ferreira were moved to Chennai on Friday evening, the report added. On Friday, state Congress President Amit Patkar accused the BJP of trying to lure Congress legislators.
