Congo's Ebola cases cross 1,000, largest 1st-month total of any Ebola outbreak

The total number of confirmed Bundibugyo Ebola cases in Congo crossed 1,000, including 267 deaths, as per WHO data. This marks the largest number of confirmed cases within the first month of any Ebola outbreak in ​Africa, a senior WHO official said.
