Congolese woman held in Delhi for cheating Pune resident of ₹12.3 lakh

A Congolese woman, wanted by Pimpri Chinchwad Police in a case of cyber fraud since 2021, was arrested upon landing at Delhi airport. She allegedly cheated a 40-year-old woman of ₹12.3 lakh through an online dating portal by using a fake profile of a US-based surgeon. A Look Out Circular was issued against her and she was detained in Delhi.
