Congress' 5 guarantee schemes a burden but will continue: K'taka Dy CM

Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar said Congress' five guarantee schemes were a "burden" on the state exchequer but would continue. "There's no need to revise...guarantees," he said. The schemes—Gruha Jyothi, Gruha Lakshmi, Anna Bhagya, Yuva Nidhi and Shakti—were designed to strengthen families, but Shivakumar warned that some people were misusing benefits in the names of dead people.
