Congress' Gen Z candidate wins Raj local body polls

Faiz Hasan, a 21-year-old Gen Z candidate from Congress, won Ward 71 in the Jaipur Municipal Corporation election. Hasan secured 5,426 votes, defeating Independent candidate Mohammad Salim, who polled 5,256 votes, while BJP candidate Nisha Gaur finished third. Counting for Rajasthan's 309 urban local bodies is underway, with BJP leading in five of 10 municipal corporations and Congress in three.
