Congress accuses allies CPI-ML, RJD of cross-voting in J'khand RS polls, they deny

After Congress accused I.N.D.I.A. bloc allies RJD and CPI-ML of cross-voting in Rajya Sabha election from Jharkhand, CPI-ML refuted the allegation, saying, "Both our MLAs voted for Mr [Pranav] Jha as planned in the meeting of opposition MLAs." Congress candidate Jha was defeated in the election on Thursday. RJD also said its four MLAs voted for the Congress candidate.
