Congress announces crowdfunding campaign, seeks donations in multiples of ₹138

Congress on Saturday announced its online crowdfunding campaign titled 'Donate for Desh'. The party said this was inspired by Mahatma Gandhi's 'Tilak Swaraj Fund' of the 1920s. "Our inaugural campaign, 'Donate for Behtar Bharat', commemorates the 138-year journey of Congress...We invite supporters to donate multiples of ₹138 (e.g.,₹138, ₹1,380, ₹13,800 or more)," Congress added.
