Congress authorises Rahul Gandhi to decide poll alliances

Congress President Rahul Gandhi was authorised to take decisions on forging pre-poll and post-poll alliances for the party during the five-hour Congress Working Committee meeting on Sunday. Addressing the meeting, Rahul said "winning back" the trust of voters was the biggest task for Congress leaders and workers. He also warned of action against Congress leaders for "giving wrong statements".
