Congress candidate for Odisha bypoll Ajit Mangaraj dies of COVID-19

Congress candidate for the bypoll in Odisha's Pipili Assembly constituency, Ajit Mangaraj, died of COVID-19 on Wednesday. The 52-year-old leader had tested positive for COVID-19 on April 10. "I am saddened to learn of the death of Ajit Mangaraj...I offer my condolences to the bereaved family and wish them well in their future endeavours," Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik tweeted.
