Congress cites Nehru's 1947 letter to Einstein after PM Modi's speech in Israel

Congress responded to PM Modi's remark that India recognised Israel on the day he was born. MP Jairam Ramesh shared Jawaharlal Nehru's 1947 reply to Albert Einstein to put forth his contrasting views on Israel's creation. "The problem of Palestine...is extraordinarily difficult and intricate. Where rights come into conflict, it is not an easy matter to decide," Nehru had written.
