Congress councillor's daughter stabbed to death by college mate in K'taka

The daughter of a Congress councillor of the Hubballi Dharwad Municipal Corporation (HDMC) in Karnataka was stabbed to death on Thursday at the premises of her college by college mate. According to the police, Neha Hiremath, 21, daughter of HDMC councillor Niranjan Hiremath, was stabbed by her college mate. Reports said he killed the girl as she rejected his proposal.
