Congress distances itself from Deepender Hooda's remarks on Sajjan Kumar, he clarifies

Punjab Congress distanced itself from Congress MP Deepender Hooda's remarks describing ex-Congress leader and 1984 anti-Sikh riots convict Sajjan Kumar as an "example". Congress' Charanjit Singh Channi said praising Kumar was unacceptable. Clarifying his remarks after backlash from Punjab Congress, Hooda said he never called Kumar a "role model" and his comments were being interpreted incorrectly.
