Congress emerges as single largest party in Rajasthan with 99 seats

Congress has emerged as the single largest party in Rajasthan with 99 seats and its ally party RLD securing one seat in the 200-member state assembly. BJP has secured 73 seats as compared to 163 in 2013 state Assembly elections. Meanwhile, 41-year-old Sachin Pilot and 67-year-old Ashok Gehlot are said to be Congress' candidates for the Chief Ministerial post.
