Congress facing internal rift in choosing Kerala CM as 3 contenders emerge: Report

The Congress-led UDF is reportedly facing an internal rift over choosing Kerala's CM, as three leaders emerged as contenders. While KC Venugopal enjoys the backing of 63 MLA-elects, VD Satheesan has support from around 35. Ramesh Chennithala is also in the fray. Congress high command reportedly proposed Venugopal, but Satheesan warned he wouldn't accept any position other than the CM.
