Congress fields Gopal Sahu from Jharkhand's Hazaribagh seat

The Congress party on Monday announced that Gopal Sahu will contest ongoing Lok Sabha elections from Jharkhand's Hazaribagh constituency. The Congress has entered into a coalition with Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik-JVM), Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) in the state. The BJP has fielded sitting MP Jayant Sinha from Hazaribagh constituency.
