Congress moves privilege notice in RS against Pradhan over his NEET remarks

Congress MP Jairam Ramesh on Monday moved a privilege notice in Rajya Sabha against Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged "derogatory" remarks against a parliamentary committee amid controversy on NEET-UG 2026 paper leak. "[Pradhan] has deliberately lowered stature and prestige of the institution of standing committee," he said. Notably, re-exam for NEET will be conducted on June 21.
