Congress opposes anything patriotic: BJP over Vande Mataram row

BJP spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari on Sunday said that it was the Congress' policy to oppose anything patriotic over the allegations that Congress leader Sonia Gandhi asked workers to stop full rendition of Vande Mataram. Bhandari demanded that Congress publicly apologise within 24 hours "if they have an iota of patriotism". "Congress insulted 140 crore people of the country," Bhandari added.
