Congress passed resolution in 1923 to release Savarkar: Grandnephew tells court

Satyaki Savarkar, VD Savarkar's grandnephew, told court in Pune that Indian National Congress' Kakinada session in 1923 had passed a resolution seeking Savarkar's release. He claimed resolution was passed because Savarkar's popularity was growing and public pressure for his release was mounting.
