Congress rejigs its top brass in Uttar Pradesh ahead of 2027 polls

Congress has revamped its Uttar Pradesh unit, appointing three-time MLA Aradhana Misra 'Mona' as president (replacing Ajay Rai) and Saharanpur MP Imran Masood as working president. Devinder Nishad and Alok Prasad have been named senior vice presidents. The restructuring comes ahead of the crucial 2027 Assembly polls. Aradhana Misra is the daughter of veteran Congress leader and MP Pramod Tiwari.
