Congress releases 1st list of 55 candidates for Kerala polls

Congress announced its first list of 55 candidates for the Kerala assembly polls. The party has fielded VD Satheesan from Paravur, Chandy Oommen from Puthuppally, Ramesh Chennithala from Haripad, Ramya Haridas from Chirayinkeezhu, and K Muraleedharan from the Vattiyoorkavu seat. Kerala Congress president Sunny Joseph has been fielded from Peravoor. Polling will be held in single phase on April 9.
