Congress releases J&K poll manifesto, promises unemployment allowance

Congress on Monday released its 'Haath Badlega Halaat' manifesto for upcoming assembly polls in Jammu and Kashmir. The party promised several welfare measures for farmers, women and the youth, including an unemployment allowance of up to ₹3,500 per month for one year to qualified youths. The other announcements include forming minority commission and arranging 99-year leases to landless farmers.
