Congress seeks repolls in 50 WB seats where SIR deletions exceeded victory margin

Congress has demanded repolling in around 50 West Bengal seats that had winning margins lower than the number of electors deleted during SIR. Indicating that the deleted voters might have voted for them, it accused the BJP and ECI of manipulating electoral rolls to engineer mandates. Congress demanded that repolls be conducted after voting rights of deleted voters are restored.
