Congress slams Budget 2026, says 'It was totally lacklustre'

Congress' communications chief Jairam Ramesh criticised Budget 2026, saying that "it fell woefully short of the hype that was generated". "It was totally lacklustre. The speech was also non-transparent since it gave no idea whatsoever of budgetary allocations for key programmes and schemes," he added.
