Congress veteran EM Sudarsana Natchiappan passes away at 79

Former Union Minister and Congress leader E M Sudarsana Natchiappan passed away at his residence following a brief illness. He served as Lok Sabha MP from Sivaganga (1999–2004), Rajya Sabha member for two terms, and Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry (2013–14). Last rites will be held Friday in Ervadi, Sivaganga.
