Congress' Kerala news channel says its bank accounts are frozen

The management of Congress-backed Jaihind TV in Kerala on Saturday, 17 February, alleged the Centre froze its bank accounts, a day after the party’s bank accounts were frozen by I-T department over outstanding tax demands. Channel sources said the freeze followed GST and Central Excise notices to two banks to recover the amount due from the news channel’s parent company.
