Connolly breaks Jayasuriya's 18-yr-old record for most sixes in IPL debut season

Punjab Kings batter Cooper Connolly broke Sanath Jayasuriya's 18-year-old record for hitting most sixes in a debut IPL season. Playing for Mumbai Indians, Jayasuriya had hit 31 sixes in the inaugural IPL season, while Connolly has now hit 32. Connolly achieved the feat while playing against Royal Challengers Bengaluru on Sunday by smashing his first two sixes.
