Consent of judge taken: Law Minister RS Prasad on Justice Muralidhar's transfer

Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad has said a "well-settled process" was followed in transfer of Delhi High Court judge Justice S Muralidhar to Punjab and Haryana High Court. He added that Justice Muralidhar's consent was taken. Justice Muralidhar was transferred hours after he pulled up Delhi Police for its inaction in filing FIRs against BJP leaders who made "provocative speeches".
