Constable's daughter becomes Noida Zone 1's 1st woman DCP

IPS officer Preeti Yadav, daughter of Constable Mukesh Yadav, has been appointed as the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) of Noida Zone 1, becoming the zone's first woman to hold the post. She cleared the UPSC Civil Services Examination in her second attempt, securing AIR 466 in 2018. "Since my childhood...I had an aspiration to join civil services," Preeti said.
