Constitution draft prepared by a Brahmin: Gujarat Speaker

Gujarat Assembly Speaker Rajendra Trivedi on Friday said that the draft of the Constitution of India was prepared by a Brahmin. "In his [Dr BR Ambedkar] own words, it was prepared by BN Rau- Benegal Narsing Rau- a Brahmin," he added. Trivedi further said that "Brahmins always stand behind and promote others" and Rau kept Ambedkar ahead of him.
