Construction of Sir David Attenborough research ship begins

Construction of polar research ship 'RRS Sir David Attenborough' officially began on Monday in England. The $243 million research vessel, named after the British broadcaster and naturalist Sir David Attenborough, will explore the Antarctic waters up to depths of 6,000 metres and would be able to remain at sea for several months at a time.
