Consuming over 300 g/week poultry can lead to GI cancer: Study

People consuming over 300 grams of poultry meat weekly, including chicken, face a higher risk of gastrointestinal cancer and early death, according to Italy's National Institute of Gastroenterology study. The risk of death after consuming over 300 grams of poultry weekly was 27% higher compared to people who ate just 100 grams of poultry per week or less, study added.
