Container Store's millionaire CEO Satish cuts own salary to give pay hikes to staff

Satish Malhotra, the millionaire CEO of US-based The Container Store, is taking a voluntary pay cut to ensure that all of his employees get a pay hike. According to SEC filings, Malhotra's base salary will be slashed by 10% from $925,000 to $832,500 for six months. Last year, Malhotra is said to have received a total compensation of $2.57 million.
