Coordinating bustard habitats across 4 Indian states

The Great Indian Bustard is one of Earth's heaviest flying birds and is also endangered, with fewer than 150 left. A new study by the Wildlife Institute of India has used GPS telemetry and spatial modeling to pinpoint 16 vital safe havens across the semi-arid Deccan Plateau. This offers a blueprint for the preservation of India's critically endangered grassland giants.
