Cope harder: Vaishnaw on Bloomberg's 'India's China-like manufacturing model will fail' report

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw slammed a Bloomberg report claiming India's China-style mobile manufacturing model would fail due to subsidy dependence. Telling critics to "cope harder", he said mobile PLI scheme generated ₹3.25 lakh crore in tax collections against ₹19,000 crore in incentives. Electronics manufacturing employs 25 lakh people, including 12 lakh in mobile manufacturing, he added.
