Copper stocks rise up to 4% as copper prices hit record high

Copper stocks rose by up to 4% after metal prices hit an all-time high of $14,617 a tonne on the London Metal Exchange. Hindustan Copper shares gained 3.60% on Tuesday to hit an intraday high of ₹527.25, while Hindalco Industries shares rose 1.78% to hit a high of ₹1,024.75. Notably, copper prices have gained around 17% over the past year.
