Coronavirus pandemic could lead to economic slowdown in India: RBI

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Shaktikanta Das on Monday said that the coronavirus pandemic could lead to a slowdown in India. "Coronavirus could impact India directly through trade channels, in which exposure to China is relatively high," said Das. "Second round of effects of the pandemic could operate through a slowdown in the domestic economic growth," he added.
