Could burden Christian groups: Nagaland CM to Shah on FCRA Bill
Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio wrote to Home Minister Amit Shah to reconsider the proposed FCRA amendments, saying they could burden churches and Christian charitable organisations. He asked for the amendments bill to be referred to a parliamentary committee. Rio became the third Northeast CM to voice concerns over the bill after Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma and Mizoram CM Lalduhoma.
